James Macfarlane wins Rising Star title in EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards

James Macfarlane, Group CEO of PM Connect, has been named the winner of the Rising Star category in the Midlands division of the hugely influential EY Entrepreneur Of The Year awards.

The awards, which have been running for 20 years in the UK and form part of a global business growth program, aim to recognise the most successful British entrepreneurs – based on comprehensive judging criteria that include everything from strong leadership skills to effective stakeholder management.

The Rising Star category is open to those at the helm of businesses within 2-7 years of incorporation. It aims to celebrate forward-thinking, creative entrepreneurs who have not only identified an opportunity, but acted on it with flair and drive.

James commented on the win:

The UK finalists across the country will go on to compete for the title of EY Entrepreneur Of The Year UK overall winner, announced in the UK final in November.
